~ Boxed Pre-War Dinky 62n Junkers JU 90 Airliner ~
It was issued in 1938 and discontinued, because of the war, in 1941. It was re-issued after WWII as no. 62y only, using the same mould, but made anonymously as a ‘Giant High Speed Monoplane’.
The plane has a silver body, with gliding game hole, hanging hook & 3 blade propellers. The wing is labeled “D-AIVI”, but other variants included D-AURE, D-AALU or D-ADLH.
It is housed within its original box.

The plane has a wingspan of 6.5 inches (16.5 cm), a length of 5 inches (12.7 cm) and a height of 1.4 inches (3.4 cm). The box has a width of 4.8 inches (12.2 cm), a depth of 4.8 inches, & a height of 1.5 inches (3.7 cm). The set weighs 120 g.
~ Condition ~
The aeroplane is in excellent condition with minor shrinkage to the paint. The box is in excellent order, a scuff to one lower edge of the lid and some sun fading.
