~ Churchman’s Cigarette “The Navy At Work” Framed Cigarette Card Set ~
The set, entitled “The Navy at work”, was released in 1937. The 48 cards are presented in two frames.
This set consists of black & white photographs of Naval personnel working on various ships in diverse situations, with the various badges of the ship they were serving on. This includes “Wireless Telegraph”, “Bugler”, “Seaman Gunner”, & “Engine Room Artificer”.
~ Dimensions ~
The cards have a width of 2.5 inches (6.5cm) and a height of 2 inches (5cm).
The frames have a width of 18 inches (45.75cm), a height of 13.5 inches (34.25cm) & a depth of 0.5 inches (1.25cm). Each weighs 1.15kg.
~ Condition ~
The cards are in an overall good condition, some are lifting from the backing mount. The frames are in excellent condition.
