~ Circa 1936-39 Lineol Tin Plate Model No. 1240 Long Range Gun With Travelling Bogie ~
A tinplate long range gun with travelling bogie (or to give it its original German name ‘Langrohrgeschutze mit Sattel-protze’) by the German toy making
company ‘Lineol’ dating to 1936-1939.
The set comprises of a long range gun mounted on a two wheeled field carriage with split trail and a two wheeled travelling bogie.
The gun has an elevating & transversing function and a cap firing mechanism and is fully detachable.
The carriage and bogie have block tread rubber tyres & disc pattern wheel hubs.
The pieces are painted in a three colour sand/green/brown pre-war camouflage.

The gun measures 30cm (12 inches) in length.
The gun on carriage plus bogie have a total length of 51cm (20 inches).
Together they weigh 1.6Kg.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in a good working condition with no damage and just some general light wear to the paintwork.
