This is an original bayonet for an East India Company Brown Bess Musket with possible unit marking to the foot of the socket. It features a “Dawes” stamp and a Victoria crown.

There is some pitting across the surface of the bayonet with no significant knocks or marks. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
