~ Early 19th Century Pair of Old Paris Porcelain Spill Vases ~
This is a lovely pair of Old Paris Porcelain spill vases from around 1810/20 with unusual open bases which sport four winged lions heads and paw feet – no doubt inspired and influenced by Napoleon’s battles in Egypt 1798-1801, serrated rim and hand painted pink and red flowers. Each piece has gilded detailing.
One vase is stamped with the letter ‘W’ to the underside.

Each vase is 5.25 inches (13.25cm) tall with a top diameter of 2.75 inches (7cm).
The total weight is 470 grams.
~ Condition ~
The paint and the gilding is worn and one vase has 6 cm crack and both pieces have nibbles around the base.
