A fine early Mameluke sabre with its scabbard of the usual form.
~ Condition ~
An excellent example. The blade is clean, the edge has a few minor nicks. The grip has the usual shrinkage cracks. All the metal fittings are clean and tidy.
The scabbard has minor pitting but is free from dents.
~ Dimensions ~
The total length of the sabre is 74 cm (29 inches) and the blade is 61 cm (24 inches) in length.
