The French 1886 pattern Lebel bayonet is an unusual design with a long and thin cruciform blade, an all metal grip and a hooked quillion.
The bayonet was issued with the Lebel Model 1886 rifle also known as the “Fusil Mle 1886 M93” that entered service in the French Army in 1887.

The length of the blade is 50cm, and the overall length is 64cm. The width is 8cm, and the weight is 0.8kg.
~ Condition ~
The blade shows its age, with rust and signs of nicks. The metal grip has developed patina.
