~ Georgian Silver Snuff Box Hallmarked For London 1802 And 1803 ~
The gilt inside is hallmarked for sterling silver, London, a date letter of ‘G’ for 1802 and the Kings head facing left. There is also a rubber makers mark, probably ‘T.B’, which may be for Thomas Wilkes Barker. The lid bears the date letter ‘H’ for London 1803 as well as the Sterling silver assay mark.
The exterior has scroll work details and ribbons. The central cartouche bears the initials ‘WC’.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in good used order, there are several dings to the ends and underside.

The box is 7.5 cm (3 inches) wide, 3.5 cm (1.4 inches) deep and 2 cm (0.75 inches) tall. It weighs 52 g.
