~ Kieninger & Obergfell ~
Kieninger & Obergfell was a German clock manufacturer. Key-wound 400 day clocks, such as this one, are no longer made. They were designed to be wound every 400 or so days, so owners typically wind them once every year on an anniversary date. The clocks are known for being reliable.
~ Dimensions ~
The piece has a overall height of 17 inches (43cm) with the glass dome, and 15.25 inches (39cm) without.
The base has a diameter of 9 inches (23cm).
It weighs 3.3 kg.
~ Condition ~
There is some minor wear to the brass, though the clock remains in an otherwise good condition. The dial remains clean. The dome is slightly chipped to the bottom. It has been serviced and is in good working order.
