Description

~ Mid 18th Century English Hunting Sword With Solingen Blade ~

The sword has a steel blade with a long single fuller to both sides. It has the Solingen running dear etched to both sides. The guard is of embossed brass with an ebonised grip.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. The blade is pitted and has several nicks to the edge. The grip has a couple of minor chips. All parts are firmly in place.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 60cm (23.5 inches) in total length with a 47cm (18.5 inches) blade.
