~ Moorcroft Hibiscus Pattern Oviform Vase 1953- ~
This is a splendid ‘Hibiscus’ vase by Moorctoft, decorated with green-yellow and white blue flowers on the classic Moorcroft deep blue background.
On the base are the ‘Moorcroft’ and the ‘Made in England’ stamps and painted ‘WM’ painted monogram. It dates on or after 1953.
~ Dimensions ~
The vase opening diameter is 8 cm (3.1 inches) and it is 18 cm (7.1 inches) tall.
It weighs 680 grams.
~ Condition ~
The vase is in good condition. There is a minor firing crack from the rim, it is not post production damage. In this area they are two patches that the background blue glaze has not full covered.
