For sale is a unique Pickelhaube spike helmet from a Prussian infantry regiment. The demise of the Pickelhaube began in the fields of WWI as a result of increased head wounds suffered by the German troops which were mainly caused by grenade and shell fragments.
The pickelhaube is a size 54-56.
*Condition*
On the whole the helmet is in good condition. There are no major damages to the helmet on the whole. Specifically, the strap just under the eagle is broken and there are signs of aging. Please refer to the images as a part of the condition report.
