~ Pair Of Early 20th Century Minton Secessionist Vases No. 301 ~
A lovely pair of small vases from Mintons secessionist range which was produced between 1895-1920.
The vases are of squat bulbous form which taper at the top to form a small aperture. They are decorated with tube lined flowers on red grounds with some green swirl detailing.
To the base of each is the stamped mark ‘Minton Ltd’. One is printed ‘No. 301’, the other with ‘No. 30’ (the trailing ‘1’ is missing).
~ Dimensions ~
The vases measures 3 ¼ inches (8.3cm) at their widest with a height of 5 ¼ inches (13.3cm). Together they weigh 557g.
~ Condition ~
The vases are in a nice condition with only some minor flea bite chips. There is a little crazing to the glaze in small areas. One vase has a small unglazed area to the side, this is a manufacturing fault. One vase has had damage to the lip but this has been honestly repaired.
