~ Pair Of Silver Trumpet Vases c1919 ~
A nice pair of small silver trumpet vases dating to 1919.
The vases are of trumpet form with faceted sides over a stepped circular weighted base.
The base and inside of the neck have rounded fluted-like decoration decoration.
The vases are both hallmarked for silver, Sheffield, 1919 and have the makers mark of ‘JDWD’ for James Deakin & Sons (John & William F. Deakin).
~ Dimensions ~
The vases each have a diameter (to the widest part: the upper rim) of 7cm (2 ¾ inches) and have a height of 16cm (6 ¼ inches).
Together they weigh 171g.
~ Condition ~
Both of the vases have a couple of small dings. One has some compaction to the rim and a small split where the base meets the stem.
Otherwise the vases are in a god condition for their age and present well.
