This is a high-quality reproduction of the U.S. M3 Fighting Knife, accurately styled after the original WWII-issued models used by American airborne, ranger, and armoured units. The blade is marked “U.S. M3 1943” and “U.S. M3 S.W.I.” on the guard. While S.W.I. (Schmidt & Western Industries) is not among the nine officially documented WWII manufacturers, this marking is commonly found on well-made reproductions produced for collectors and reenactors.

The knife features a stacked leather washer grip and a blued, spear-point blade that closely follows the wartime pattern. It comes complete with an M8 scabbard, made with an olive-drab fiberglass body and steel throat, and fitted with a stitched and riveted canvas web hanger. The overall proportions, materials, and construction of both the knife and scabbard make this an ideal piece for living history events, reenactment, or as an affordable stand-in for an original in a collection.

*Condition*
The blade and guard are in very good condition with only light storage wear. The grip is clean and tightly assembled, showing no signs of damage or heavy use.
