~ Royal Doulton Ceramic Figure – Cobbler HN1706 ~
A Royal Doulton porcelain figure entitled ‘Cobbler’ designed by Charles Noke and issued between 1935-1969.
The figure is of a man in brightly coloured robes and turban sat cross legged on a carpeted plinth. In his hand he holds a shoe, while other shoes lie at his feet.
The underside of the piece has the Royal Doulton stamp as well as the title ‘Cobbler’ and the reference no. ‘HN 1706’.
The figure sits on a later wood stand, which is ever so slightly smaller than the figures base.
~ Dimensions ~
The figure stands at 23cm (9 ½ inches) including base.
The base measures 15cn (6 inches) by 15cm (6 inches).
Together they weigh 1.2Kg.
~ Condition ~
The figure is in a very nice condition with no cracks, chips or damage.
