~ WW1 German Bayern Other Ranks M1891 Pickelhaube ~
A classic piece of WW1 militaria with all original parts.
The dark-red inside lining comes with crisp skin-coloured leather. The inside is marked “B.A 1915”.
~ Dimensions ~
The helmet measures 16.6cm (6 ½ inches) side to side and 25cm (9 ¾ inches) front to back (rim to rim) and has an inner circumference of 55cm (21 ½ inches).
It weighs 370g.
~ Condition ~
The helmet is in decent condition with general wear but no major damage. The rear visor is unstitched to one end for about 1.5 inches.
The skull is quite crackled as are the visors.
The state cockade is missing.
