WW2 US M1 Helmet with Navy & Marine Parachutist Insignia

This is one of the iconic M1 helmets which were used extensively by the United States throughout World War 2. This M1 features two Navy and Marine Corps Parachutist insignias on both sides and what seems to be a Sergeant’s Rank on the front. Both swivel bails are intact and the liner is snug in the shell.

*Condition*

This helmet has the expected wear and pitting in keeping with its age and use. There is no webbing or strap. Some areas of pitting are worse than others. Please see pictures for more detail.
