However, it’s important to note that by the mid-19th century, firearms had become the primary weapons in military conflicts, and traditional archery was not as prominent in regular military use.

The rebellion saw a mix of traditional and modern weaponry on both sides. The Indian soldiers, or sepoys, were equipped with a variety of firearms such as muskets and rifles, often of British or European manufacture. The British forces, on the other hand, had more advanced firearms like the Enfield rifle.
