For sale is a very good condition and genuine Nazi Wehrmacht M40 helmet. The principal change was to stamp the ventilator hole mounts directly onto the shell, rather than utilizing separate fittings. Not in its original colour though. Stamped on the inside NS64 and 1546. This helmet was made at the Nickelwerk Schwete factory in 1940 and would have been a single decal army or Luftwaffe helmet.
Overall, the helmet is in good condition. There are various and small various pitting marks on top on the helmet. The painted eagle and swastika are probably 50% intact. The inside leather fabric is very much intact with some minor cracking and aging. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
