Description

~ Mid 19th Century Manstopper Rifled Percussion Pistol ~

The rifled piece is fitted with an under-slung ramrod. The side plate does not bear a makers name.

~ Condition ~

The pistol cocks and half cocks with a strong spring. The woodwork is complete and in good order with some bruising and a few minor chips. The metal work is virtually free from pitting. It needs a barrel retaining pin.

~ Dimensions ~

The pistol is 35 cm (14 inches) long with a 20 cm (8 inches) barrel.
