This is a fine example of a vintage Central European hunting knife, likely of German (Solingen) origin, dating to the 1920s–1940s. It features a naturally curved stag horn handle, capped with a faceted dark glass or gemstone inlay set into the crown — a traditional decorative flourish often found on hunting knives of the region.

The knife has a polished single-edged clip-point blade, approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm) in length, with a shallow fuller to one side and a simple steel crossguard. The blade appears unmarked or with only faint traces of a maker’s stamp, consistent with many smaller Solingen workshop pieces produced for domestic use or export during the interwar period.

The original black leather sheath is included, shaped to the blade and fitted with a press-stud retaining strap and belt loop.

Blade in good condition, showing light surface marks and sharpening wear. Stag handle is solid with a rich aged patina. The faceted pommel stone is well-set and undamaged. The sheath is worn with age-related cracking, a damaged belt loop, and deterioration around the press-stud area, though it remains largely intact.
