Description

~ Arabic Jezail Musket No 2 ~

The piece has a full hardwood stock, a steel barrel and brass fittings. The barrel is fitted with a front and rear sight. A very decent example with fine mounts for its type.

~ Condition ~

The woodwork has minor wear and some shrinkage cracks. The barrel is pretty free from pitting. The matchlock mechanism works well.

~ Dimensions ~

The musket is 157 cm (62 inches) in total length with a 115 cm (45.5 inches) barrel.
