~ Bronze Figure Of Reclining Nude – Isabelle ~
A beautiful large sculpture in bronze of a reclining female nude.
The figure is depicted with headscarf, sitting upon a blanket with knees up, glancing over her right shoulder.
She sits on an integrated bronze plinth which is mounted upon a black marble base.
We have been unable to ascertain the sculptor of the piece. It is inscribed ‘Isabelle’ but we are unsure if this is the artists signature or title of the piece.
~ Dimensions ~
The base measures 30.5cm (12 inches) by 20cm (8 inches).
The figure on base has a height of 38cm (15 inches) and weighs 14.3 Kg.
~ Condition ~
One corner of the marble base is chipped but otherwise the piece is in a very nice condition.
