A Guanyin is an East Asian spiritual figure of mercy, and a bodhisattva associated with compassion as venerated by Mahayana Buddhists.

The Guanyin holds a seed pot containing a growing lotus with flower & a chain of pearls.

The statue is coloured a brilliant light celadon green with patches of black/brown.

It has been dated to the Qing period, possibly earlier.

The statue has a height of 2.5 inches (6.4 cm), a width of 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) & a depth of 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).

It weighs 150 g.

The statue is in a very good condition.
