Description

This is one of the iconic Fairbairn-Sykes Commando fighting knives used throughout World War 2, most notably by the British Commandos and other Special Forces units such as the SAS and Airborne forces. This particular knife is one of the second pattern FS fighting knives. It features the characteristic chequered brass grip along with original leather scabbard. The FS knives have been in service since 1941 and are still used in many places around the world today.

*Condition*

This knife is in great condition with some pitting to the blade in keeping with its age and use. The grip is excellent with very minor marks and the scabbard is strong and undamaged. Please see pictures for more detail.
