~ Pair Of Late Victorian Hand Painted Vaseline Glass Vases ~
A lovely pair of Vaseline glass vases dating to the late 1800’s.
The vases are jug style each with a single curved handle. They have oval bodies with flared spouts.
They are both hand painted with white flowers and green foliage with raised colour detailing.
The spout rims and base are hand painted in greens and browns.
The vases are not an identical pair. One is slightly slimmer than the other with a different shaped handle, but these just goes to show that they
were hand-made, each one unique.
One of the vases is lightly marked to the base ‘ME13 OHL 5’ but otherwise they are unmarked.
~ Dimensions ~
The vases each have a diameter of approx. 7cm (2 ¾ inches) and a height of 17.5cm (7 inches).
Together they weigh 420g.
~ Condition ~
One of the vases has a couple of flea bite chips to the inner rim and both have a few light smudges/marks but otherwise they are in a lovely condition with no damages or repairs.
