~ Victorian Pair Of Parian Ceramic Figures Of Children ~
A nice pair of Parian bisque porcelain figures in the form of a boy and a girl.
The figures are dressed in period clothing with the boy holding a ball while the girl holds a fan and a hoop.
They are both depicted next to a tree stump and stand on circular pedestal bases.
The pieces are not marked or named.
~ Dimensions ~
The pieces each have a base diameter of 9cm (3 ½ inches) and a height of 23cm (9 inches).
Together they weigh 1.14 Kg.
~ Condition ~
Both pieces have a little damage; this can be seen to the foot, hand and back of the girl and the leg of the boy. Both have been repaired to a reasonable
standard and the damages are not too noticeable unless on a close inspection and both pieces present well.
Apart from the damages mention the pieces are otherwise in good condition.
