~ 19th Century Takedown Hunting Muzzle Loading Percussion Gun ~

The firearm is half stocked in walnut, with a chequered grip. The unsighted barrel is cylindrical to the fore and octagonal to the rear.

The piece is engraved on the rear barrel, trigger guard, lock plate and hammer.

~ Condition ~

The firearm is in good order. The lock has a strong spring, however it does not lock on half or full cock. The woodwork is complete with some wear.

~ Dimensions ~

The gun is 129 cm (57.5 inches) in length with a 90 cm (35 inches) barrel.
