*Kukri Knife and Leather Scabbard*
The kukri knife is a distinctive Nepalese blade that has been used for centuries by the Gurkha soldiers of Nepal. It is characterized by its inwardly curved blade, with the edge on the inner curve. The blade has a short single fuller and a lower notch or ‘cho’. It has a full tang construction, where the blade extends through the handle providing strength and durability. The handle has a flared butt allowing better retention in draw cuts and chopping. The handle has a metal butt plate. The kukri knife is designed for both cutting and chopping. Its inwardly curved shape concentrates the force of the blow, making it highly effective for slashing and chopping tasks. The blade’s weight and balance allow for powerful strikes with minimal effort.

the Kukri is in excellent condition with some minor pitting and tarnishing on the blade. The scabbard is in good serviceable condition though shows signs of wear and tear. Please see the photographs as part of the condition report.
