This is a very good and complete example on a German Army (Heer) dagger complete with its portepee knot and the two original belts and buckles.
The pommel is made of aluminium and decorated with oak leaves and the brown grip is made of bone.
Its original silver bullion portepee and knot is wrapped around the grip and eagle shaped cross guard.
The blade bears the trade mark of Eichorn of Solingen.
The scabbard has attached on it two suspension rings the original silver braid belts with the laurel decorated aluminium buckles.
*Condition*
The blade is in good condition for its age with a small spot of superficial surface rust.
The overall condition of the other elements is good with some ageing, as expected.
